I remember back years ago BEGGING for a portable CD player for my brithday and or xmas And I remember the cheapest one you could buy was 70.00 and I wanted it so bad... Now the cheapest one costs you under 20.00 and the IPOD has taken over but is there anyone that still listens to the portable CD player?

Nope - obviously you know how I feel about the portable CD players. The biggest difference is the type of music you're listening to -- CD's v. digital music. The digital music never skips like a CD does.

I listen to the portabel cd player. I take it on walks and runs. My grandkids each wanted a portable cd player for christmas so they could play all their cds. I got each one a cd player and they listen to it every day. Their families can't do the ipod thing yet so they would rather listen to the cd player. They can catch all their entertainment from the computer or their game stations.
