I often like to think and wonder what life was like in the pre-TV days or even pre-electricity days. People actually went to bed when the sun went down because, well, there was nothing else to do.

I remember in college that we used to leave the tv on all night long out in the lobby of our quad.

We have two tvs in our house. The hubby and kids love to watch tv. I used to, but since I've been going to college, I don't have the time. And now that I haven't watched it much in the last two years, I don't miss it. I will turn it on to listen to music since we get Sirius satellite radio through our satellite dish. I watch the news occassionally. Most of the time if I feel like watching something, I will put in a movie.

I will draw the line at putting TVs in my kids' bedrooms. But if we had another satellite TV receiver, I would likely have a TV in my office.I would likely have more TVs if I had signed up for extra satellite TV receivers. Right now we have 4 TVs...one in the master bedroom, one in the guestroom, one in the theater room, and one in the family room. likely
