I have purchased a Polyvision 17" LCD screen to use with my HP Multi media software.
Over the last month or so, I noticed that the screen had burn marks on it, with the marks showing a distinct relevance to the desktop palm trees used as background.

I removed this and just put up a plain blue background, but it still shows through my screen as darker streaks.

Is this a warranty issue, and has anyone else encountered this?

That is really odd... I wonder if maybe you have too much electricty going into the monitor? I dunno much about computers so Im not real sure good question to call and ask the company
