Default Scanners and pictures

I bought a scanner shortly after they first came out. I have gone through three of them and now have one that is a 3-in-1 printer, scanner, and copier. I have never had one that I actually liked. At first I thought it was just that I was new to it so I needed to learn more about it and practice with it. However, that was years ago and my opinion has not changed. It seems to take so long to get your scanned picture the way you want it and then if you print it, it's still wrong. Then I go through several pieces of paper and you knows how much ink, just to get it wrong again. I understand this still could be more of a user problem. On the positive side, I love being able to scan something into the computer and use it as part of my power points or what ever else I may be doing. That is the only reason I keep one.

I have an HP 3-in-1 that is designed to be a photo printer. It works good. Maybe you should look into one like this.

I'm guessing it is more of a user problem on my end. I still love it for scanning things into my computer, I just have a problem getting them back out!
