Scanner Problem
I an trying to set up a Colorado direct 9600 scanner to a new computer running windows XP. I select cameras and scanner and follow the instructions. After I click on disk the next step is to select the drive.I select the D drive but a message appears 'Specified location does not contain information about your hardware'. I have tried all the drives shown, but the same message appears in each. I have tried installing from the D drive, which appears to be successful but when I click on T Bridge in programs to open the scanner a box appears which says 'scanner not found' and asks me to check 1. LPT Port(SPP/EPP) is enabled. 2. Power adapter is plugged into the scanner connector. 3. Parallel port cable is plugged into the LP port.
The last two are OK, but I don't know how to enable the LPT port and can find nothing in help.
Grateful for any expert advice.
