Hi , I wondered if someone can advise me, I have cx3600 multi function machine . It has been back to be fixed 3 times because of print head problems and now I cannot use the scan mode . I have tried uninstalling and re-installing it . I am using Win XP and Norton internet security . On one programme the scan freezes and on another it says something about not being able to write memory . I wondered it is possible to load the software in safe mode in case one of my programmes is interfering with the installation . I am sorry for the long explanation . Thanks

I believe that you can only change thing that are directly attached to windows not programs running in it.

Try this first run in safe mode. Then uninstall the scanner software. Again reboot, then install the scanner software.

Hi Friend,
This is a common problem and you have two options to resolve the problem. First, you need to uninstall the software from Safe Mode and then restart the computer. And again reinstall the program. The issue should get resolved. If the problem persists, then you have to reinstall the operating system and install the software again. This is the last and final solution.
