Hello. I'm looking for some scanner software. Doesn't matter if it's
commercial or freeware/shareware. I have some photos that I want to
pick out just one part of the photo to be on the screen. For example,
a swimming pool, with someone i know in it, but other swimmers around
the general vicinity. Is it possible, and easy, for software like
Photoshop or Print Shop Pro, or maybe other scanning software, to
delete the other people in the photo, where i just have the pool and
the person of interest? Furthermore, is it possible to have a white
background, and put someone's picture in it, where i just have the
person and the white background?

From my experience, I think you have to scan the photo first as it is then you have to use Adobe Photoshop for the manipulation of the photograph to your desired output.

If you purchased you scanner new then you should have had a program that came with it to do that most do these days
