Scanner for picture slides
My inlaws have dozens of boxes of slides (oh joy), and I'm thinking they might want some olf them put into real pictures. Anyone ever heard of a scanner that scans slides like these?

That's an excellent question. I would like to know the same thing. I'm afraid I'm going to be going thru that same thing. I would like to do that for pictures we have of our kids as they were growing up. I just haven't taken the initiative to do anything about it.

I know there is some tech name for a scanner that has an adapter for slides or film. I laughed when I read about inlaws with slides----I have quite a few myself I would like to see in say JPG.

My inlaws love their slides. And to be quite honest, I love the slide shows. It's how a new in-law (like me) gets introduced to the family. "Let's have a slide show!"
The part that stinks is that that's all they have: slides. So when they need pics, they have to take the slide down to the local film processor which can be a real pain.
