Smile All-in-One with Scanner

The Lexmark X4270 has a scanner built into it. I was impressed how crisp and clear the pictures are when scanned. I think it worked better than my HP scanner I had before. The scanner is easy to use and not easily scratched or dirtied. The price was also good at less than $150. I didn't use other scanner as much because it was too much of a hassle. I don't have the same problem with this. You simply push a button, put in your picture and you are finished. Even the one at my office is not as clear. I do like the way the other scanner's can flip up the top to insert pictures. This one you have to slide through like a printer, therefore limiting the size of things to scan. For the price and simple everyday use its a great buy!

We have an HP scanner/printer/copier at home that works fantastic. It's a few years old, but it's the first printer that my husband hasn't felt like throwing through a window in years.

Kudos on the HP. We have a 3 in 1 also. Boy is it nice. What I like about it is the fact that you can insert the digital camera picture card and you can either send it to the computer to edit or print right away. I generally have to edit, though, cause sometimes my photograpy skills aren't too great.

Default HP with a fax too?

Did I see an HP with a fax---scanner---printer and copier---alk in 1 for around 300 dollars---or was I dreaming?
