Default Film Scanners

Have you ever used a film scanner? What scanners are the best ones on the market. Is the Canon FS-4000 the best?

More and more people are using a film scanner to go through their old 35mm negatives and scan them to a disk. These are also widely used in small picture print shops.

Have you ever used one? What has your experience been with a film scanner?

I just read on another thread about one from HP. I have pasted a couple of sentences from this person reply. You might want to check it out.

I've done a little research, and time and time again the HP Scanjet 4890 Photo Scanner is showing up as a favorite. It's only $199 - probably good for any home office. Good luck
