Strange. I grew up on a farm, but my folks only had livestock in the first few years of my life, so I don't remember much about them. I do remember spending lots of time helping clean grain bins in high school though. Yuck. Talk about building character.

And speaking of new technology, I'm a little bitter about some of the inventions that make work easier, like rock pickers and grain vacs.

My dad paid us nothing. We had to do it because he provided us with clothes and food. When my husband went to work for him 7 years ago, I couldn't believe it when he said he was going to go pick rocks . . . by himself. Then I saw the picker and just rolled my eyes.

BTW -- the picker doesn't make the job any more interesting, just less labor intensive.

Speakers work on AC Current. When the charge goes in the negative and positive sides of the magnet during a cycle, it creates a field that moves the speaker motor (pole piece), spyeria and cone in and out.
