Is the weather radio worth it... I hear its a bit annoyin but snaps on whenever there is an alart for your area... Im a tornado freak I love um but I hate um and I want to know and they wont die on you in a storm...

My husband survived a tornado in 1998. In 1999 when we got married, my parents bought us one of those radios. We live by it in the summertime now.

I have one of those too...while on really active weather nights it can go off quite a bit I wouldn't want to be without it. They are really cheap and I think quite possibly a life saver!!

well what do they do just beap for a certain kidn of warning or does it brodcast with a real speaker? where do i find one and how much?
