Home page issue

I have a query. The homepage of my site has been indexed by Google but it is not to be seen in search results. The following things do not give the desired results:

- title in quotes
- distinctive phrases from the site in quotes

Now this hasn’t happened with any other pages on my website. I don’t have a problem with other pages. The issue is with my homepage. I don’t know what to do. It is stressing me out. I hope my homepage has not been penalized. Can someone shed light on this issue? Please help!
