We THOUGHT we had someone who knew what he was doing. . . but not anymore. The sound stinks on it. At any rate, we still have proof that we got married.

My brother got married just this past year, and I don't think he and his wife even had it recorded. Maybe it's just old school to have someone record your wedding.

I think recording one's wedding has passed. Most of the people that I know who have gotten married recently have been getting pictures. They don't even buy the picture package anymore -- they get them put on discs and view them that way.

My daughter in law got some really good sell out deal on the vhs movies because their video store was not going order in any more movies on vhs. And this was about 6 months ago.

VHS maybe on the way out. But still you will find at any car boot sale or in any house hold or charity shop endless stacks of videos. Sure the quality might not be as good and the sound and image maybe worn with age.

But still you can get a film for next to nothing. While no-one is making them anymore I still think you will see them around for a few more years. As a culture of retro enthusiasts who will keep holding onto them.

Most VHS that are still out there, you can buy for just a few pennies. (making them still live on in the sense of providing cheap forms of media entertainment)
