Question How does vonage work?

How does Vonage work differently from a regular cell phone? I don't know if this is the right subforum to post this question in, but I keep hearing about Vonage and wonder how it differs from a regular cell phone.

Vonage works through your high-speed internet access. You use a regular, touch-tone phone with it, and it is my understanding that you even get to keep your current phone number (or get a new one through Vonage if you prefer).

Cool . . . so you pay a flat fee each month instead of a per-minute fee?

Exactly. A flat fee + taxes and the other "fees and surcharges" that phone companies tend to add on.

Default Vonage

I too have heard alot about Vonage But I didnt understand it. That is an amazing plan for a phone. Flat fee each month rather then 10 cents a minute.
